On September 1, 2020, ACEA Biosciences officially joins the Agilent Technologies family. This acquisition brings together two pioneers in cellular function and metabolism measurements focused on real-time, live cell analyses.

While the transition will involve minor changes in how ACEA customers order products, one thing will not change: our commitment to delivering the same high level of customer service that you have come to expect from us. Our priority is to minimize disruption to customers, partners, and employees.

The main change is in billing information: Starting September 1, 2020, all orders should be placed with Agilent Technologies, not with ACEA. Please update your vendor records at that time to reflect the new Agilent information as listed on the fact sheet for your country.


I. ORDERING ACEA PRODUCTS

How do I request a quote to buy a new instrument?

Contact your local sales/account representative, or visit the Where to Buy page on Agilent.com to find your sales rep by country.

I have a current quote – is it still valid?

Yes, all current quotes will be honored through their expiration dates.

How do I place an order for ACEA products?

Starting September 1, 2020, you will no longer be able to place new orders with ACEA Biosciences. Instead they should be placed with Agilent. Please update your vendor records as of September 1, 2020 to reflect the new Agilent information on the country-specific fact sheet.

Will ACEA product numbers change?

There may be minor changes.

Will my ACEA distributor be the same?

Please refer to the distributor listing on the Contact Us page on Agilent.com.

Will order payments still be made to ACEA?

If you have an invoice from ACEA for a recent order, you should make the payment to ACEA per the instructions on that invoice.

As of September 1, 2020, all new orders will be fulfilled by Agilent, and invoices will be sent from Agilent with remittance instructions on the invoice.

I already have Agilent set up as my vendor. Do I need to change anything?

No.


II. SUPPORT/WARRANTY AGREEMENTS

Will the terms of my support agreement/warranty change?

No. However, if you have an existing warranty or support agreement that will be active beyond 1-September 2020, at that point it will be legally assigned to Agilent Technologies.

All support agreements issued on or after September 1, 2020 shall be with Agilent Technologies.

Will my ACEA contact numbers remain the same?

Effective September 1, 2020, there will be country-specific changes, which will be communicated, and details will be also be available on Agilent.com Contact Us.

Will ACEA email addresses change?

Yes, ACEA email addresses have changed to Agilent email addresses. For example: bsmith@ACEAbio.com is now bob.smith@agilent.com. You may continue to use the ACEA email address, which will forward to the new Agilent email, but we recommend you update your records to reflect the new Agilent email address.

How do I schedule technical training?

Your sales rep or product specialist can advise you on available technical training.

Will I continue to receive ACEA emails/notifications?

Yes, if you are currently subscribed, you will continue to receive all emails/notifications.
